Last updated: August 12, 2026. You may ask HeadlineDecoded to delete personal information associated with a connected account or a message you sent us.

How to request deletion

  1. Email privacy@headlinedecoded.com with the subject User data deletion request.
  2. Include the email address associated with your request and, if applicable, the name of the connected platform. Do not send your password or access token.
  3. We may ask for limited additional information to verify that you control the account. After verification, we will delete or irreversibly anonymise the data unless retention is required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance or dispute resolution.

Disconnect Meta access

You may also remove HeadlineDecoded from your Facebook settings under Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites. Removing the app stops future access but does not by itself delete information already provided to HeadlineDecoded, so use the email process above if you also want our stored copy deleted.

Timing and confirmation

We aim to acknowledge requests within 7 days and complete verified deletion requests within 30 days. We will confirm when the request is complete or explain any information we must retain and why.
